  In Week 8,  Miss Fletcher gave us a science lesson about Matariki. We had to write some notes about it.  Here is my work:

In Week 7, we were learning how to write using personification.  We looked at lots of poems that had personification in them and then we had to write our own. We could choose any topic.  I chose to base mine on trees. Here is my work.

Then you create something based on the message and also do a piece of writing. You can use materials or make a digital creation.  This week Mrs Craig Read the book: The Day the Crayons Quit.  It was about crayons needing a break and them wanting to be used for different things.  I chose to use pink and draw a dinosaur using only pink and I made a letter.   We have been learning how to ask questions in Te Reo. The question was :  E aha tenei? This means: What is this? Then we had to be able to answer that question several times using different Te Reo words for things in the classroom. Here is my work.
