On Thursday when all the Year 2's were in Auckland, the year three's went into team Awa . We did  lots of art.

    Hello Abby. This is the year 3's from room 4 at Ohaeawai Primary School. We like your art but we would like to know more about it. Why did you create your art work? Why did you pick those colours? We really like the patterns on your art, and how each piece has a different pattern in it.

 My speech topic is Native trees. I picked this topic because it is important for NZ to look after. When I presented my speech I felt good. What I did well was my volume was good. What I could have done better was my eye contact. My Speech: Why is it important to look after the Native Trees?  Native trees are trees that only grow in New Zealand.   Another thing we have been  learning in maths is how to solve word problems involving combinations of things. You had to be able to write addition equations showing as many different   combinations as we could.  Some people found it was useful to do your figuring out using a table.
